2013 Museum 'Tallawanta' Shiraz

The best Hunter Shiraz comes from old vines grown on the renowned red clay soils on the foothills of the Brokenback Range. The Tallawanta vineyard was planted in 1920 by the Elliot family and to this day produces some of the Hunter’s best Shiraz. Now under the care of Pepper Tree. These 90 year old vines produce tiny quantities of intensely flavoured fruit. Medium bodied in style with an unmatched ability to age in the bottle, this 2012 vintage is a wine of great purity, length and longevity - a true Hunter classic.
